Meta generally does not allow ads promoting the sale or use of weapons, ammunition, explosives, or similar products. Some adjacent products may be treated differently, but direct promotion of weapons and ammunition is heavily restricted.
3. Adult Products & Services
RESTRICTED OR PROHIBITED
Ads for many adult products, sexual services, and sexually explicit content are prohibited or heavily restricted. Even businesses with legitimate products can run into problems if the ad creative or copy is considered overly sexual.
4. Certain Loans & Financial Offers
HEAVILY RESTRICTED
Meta restricts or prohibits certain high-risk financial products and lending offers. Payday loans, short-term loans, and other financial products can face additional rules or may not be eligible to advertise at all.
