Clotheslyne: Crowdfunding Video for a $1M Raise
Clotheslyne: Crowdfunding Video for a $1M Raise
A founder-led crowdfunding video created to help everyday investors understand the Clotheslyne app, the business model, and the opportunity behind the company.
Make the Business Easy to Understand
Clotheslyne needed a crowdfunding video that could explain the app, make the business model feel simple, establish founder credibility, and help everyday investors understand the opportunity.
One House. Two Different Worlds.
The entire production was filmed at the founder’s home, so VIVO Creative had to make one location feel like both the customer’s house and the Clotheslyner’s home.
The kids’ bedrooms, hallway, and front door became the customer side of the story, while the kitchen and basement were used to stage the laundry pickup, washing, and return process.
The founder delivered the supplied script on teleprompter, while his wife appeared on camera as a Clotheslyner using the app and handling the laundry.
One Video That Had to Explain the Whole Opportunity
The finished piece combined the founder’s scripted pitch with staged app-use scenes, supporting stock footage, and motion graphics to make the Clotheslyne model easier for everyday investors to understand.
Because the entire shoot happened in one home, careful staging, performance direction, editing, stock footage, and motion graphics were used to make the story feel bigger than the location itself.
